The Jimmy Raye Youth Foundation will have a new web site as of September, 2010. Through this new site, you will be able to access more information as well as make a donation to the foundation to help serve the youth of Fayetteville and Cumberland County.

At the foundation’s annual banquet this summer, the following high school coaches were given coach of the year awards:
• Girls basketball – Dee Hardy from E.E. Smith HS
• Boys basketball – Bill Boyette from Terry Sanford HS
• Football – Richard Bailey from Jack Britt HS
WHAT IS THE JIMMY RAYE YOUTH FOUNDATION?
The Jimmy Raye Youth Foundation was formed eight years ago by Coach Raye with the help of his late friend, Ronnie “Chase” Chalmers to benefit the youth of Cumberland County. The foundation is involved with youth to provide educational and social development as well as providing a scholarship program.
The foundation also hosts athletic clinics for the youth and hosts annual events, which, in the past, featured guest speakers including Tyrone Willingham and Tony Dungy.
